Alma Foundries pairs advanced metallurgical analysis with strict quality control to guarantee that every aluminium casting achieves maximum reliability and performance.

Our in-house laboratory and comprehensive inspection procedures allow us to monitor materials and castings at every stage of production from incoming alloys to finished components, providing customers with traceable, certified, and fully compliant products.

Incoming Aluminium Alloy Analysis

All incoming aluminium alloys comply with European standards and are verified through chemical and material testing, ensuring only fully qualified materials enter the sand casting process.

In-Process Casting Controls

During production, materials are continuously monitored for:

  • Furnace temperature
  • Chemical composition
  • Material granulometry and density

Final Aluminium Casting Inspection

Each casting undergoes 100% visual inspection. For critical castings or upon request, non-destructive testing (NDT) is performed, including:

  • X-ray inspections
  • Endoscopic examinations
  • Surface roughness measurements
  • Liquid penetrant testing

Certifications & Documentation

On request, Alma provides full documentation, including chemical analysis certificates, 3.1 and PED-compliant reports, ensuring traceability and compliance.
