Alma manages the complete finishing and secondary operations workflow for aluminium castings, from the initial removal of gating systems to final packaging, ensuring high-quality, dimensionally accurate, and visually refined components.
We efficiently remove gating systems, sprues, runners, and risers, using manual or robotic cutting, depending on batch size. This ensures each casting is ready for finishing while maintaining consistent quality and fast throughput.
Castings undergo thorough deburring process that consists in cleaning and surface refinement to remove rough edges and burrs. Using shot blasting we deliver castings with clean and uniform surfaces.
All castings receive standard sandblasting, the final stage in the raw part finishing process, followed by visual inspection before packaging.
